Fins que un dia el Punxegut troba una cosa molt especial que no vol compartir: un magnífic patinet vermell. Al damunt del patinet se sent diferent. Li canvien el posat i també els costums. Ja no té les ganes de jugar amb els seus amics que tenia ni de recórrer el bosc amb ells buscant mel. Sembla que l?esperen una pila d?aventures amb el patinet, però arriba un dia que el patinet es trenca. El Punxegut queda ben trist i compungit, ara bé, de seguida els seus amics s?ofereixen a fer-li un cop de mà per arreglar-lo, i entre tots tres el deixen com si fos nou de trinca.
