Este trabajo pretende cubrir, en primer término, el vacío que existe sobre el conocimiento empírico y sociológico del conjunto de parlamentarios del primer liberalismo español (1810-1836). A la vez, completa otros estudios realizados sobre la metodología electoral empleada para la formación de las Cortes liberales, de forma que se presenta como una síntesis de los siete primeros procesos electorales liberales desarrollados en el España contemporánea entre 1810 y 1836.
