Mallorca, Barcelona, Montpeller, París, Roma, Xipre, Jerusalem i Tunis seran els territoris en els quals els protagonistes trobaran personatges tan variats com el rei Jaume II, la reina Esclaramonda de Foix, el papa Celestí V o el Gran Mestre dels cavallers templers Jaume de Molay, que inspiraran a Llull obres com el Llibre de les bèsties, Blaquerna o el Llibre de meravelles.
