    Antoni Arca és un italià que ha decidit ser un escriptor en català. Durant molts anys ha estat professor de llengua italiana a diferents escoles de Sardenya. El 1992 va tornar a treballar a l'Alguer com a professor de castellà i actualment és responsable d'un projecte d'escriptura creativa, de la qual aquest llibre és un exemple.
