Així ens fan partícips dels seus sentiments, modificats per l'aparició de personatges tronats, com ara Charlie Purdey, el dentista de St. Marylebone, que somia fer contorsions carnals amb la mare de Cris; o els Zanetti, una esbojarrada família calabresa empeltada al cor de Londres.
