Eduardo Juárez (prólogo y notas) tan magistral conversador como historiador, tanto en las aulas como en una buena tasca, es (entre otras cosas) Doctor en Historia, profesor en la Universidad Carlos III, presidente del Centro de Investigación de la Guerra Civil Española (CIGCE) y Cronista Oficial del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso... seguramente los futuros cronistas tendrán mucho que escribir sobre él, pues su capacidad de trabajo va mucho más allá de lo meramente humano.
