Maria-Mercè Marçal és sens dubte la poeta més important del segle XX en llengua catalana, i una de les escriptores que van deixar i mantenen una petja intensa entre lectors i crítics literaris. Morta molt jove, avui els seus versos continuen sent llegits i rellegits. Aquest recull n?és una magnífica invitació. Tan petita i ja saps... és una tria de la poesia de Maria-Mercè Marçal (1952-1998), autora de Cau de llunes (1977, premi Carles Riba), Bruixa de dol (1979), Desglaç (1988) i altres llibres que la convertiren en un gran nom de la poesia catalana moderna. La selecció l?ha feta el també poeta Jaume Subirana i l?ha il·lustrada Marta Altés (Barcelona, 1982).
