Emprenedor, visionari i seductor ?tot un caràcter?, va ser el principal introductor del gas natural a Espanya a través de la seva vinculació amb Catalana de Gas i Electricitat i de la posterior creació de Gas Natural. Un procés que no es va portar a terme sense dificultats, a causa de les imposicions i entrebancs del sector més ultra i monopolista del règim franquista.
