En ella el autor recorre su tierra natal --nació en El Burgo de Osma- y nos acerca, con su magistral visión, a la historia, el paisaje humano y natural, la geología y, sobre todo el ingente patrimonio artístico de Soria y su provincia. La edición cuenta con numerosas fotografías del editor y prólogo del escritor soriano Abel Hernández.
