Dins de ?Mitilene?, la col·lecció de poesia de Meteora, la sèrie dedicada a la recuperació de l?obra dels nostres poetes més il·lustres pren ara una nova embranzida amb la publicació de JOAN PERUCHO. Poesia 1947-1956, volum editat amb un estudi preliminar de Jordi Cervera que inclou quatre llibres de poemes que Perucho va publicar en una situació de pràctica clandestinitat en els dificilíssims anys de la primera postguerra: Sota la sang (1947), Aurora per vosaltres (1951), El mèdium (1954) i El país de les meravelles (1956).
L?estudi de Jordi Cervera situa les quatre obres en el seu context historicocultural i descriu amb detall la importància que tindran, conceptualment i literàriament, en l?obra posterior de Perucho, influència que transcendirà el gènere poètic i que també es pot observar amb claredat en la seva narrativa més celebrada.
