Així, Bunnag ens ensenya que només abraçant el dolor de la pèrdua, foragitem les ombres i podem començar a viure de manera plena i feliç.
Tew Bunnag (Bangkok, 1947) alterna el seu temps entre Catalunya i Tailàndia, on hi treballa activament en la seva fundació que acull i té cura de malalts en fase terminal, persones amb SIDA i infants dels ravals Bangkok. Va viure intensament el tràgic tsunami que arrasà el seu país l?any 2004.
El temps del lotus ens ofereix un relat generós i emotiu, amb mirada oriental, per ajudar-nos a entendre el temps de la mort i el dol pels éssers estimats. En paraules de l?autor, «ha estat un honor poder acompanyar els nens en la seva mort perquè m?han ajudat a eixamplar el cor».
