Dionisio Ridruejo (1912-1975) es, sin lugar a dudas, una de las figuras más apasionantes de nuestro siglo XX, tanto por su evolución ?del falangismo a la socialdemocracia? como por su lúcida y abnegada entrega al propósito de cancelar la lógica fratricida de 1936 mediante la articulación de una alternativa democrática viable. Dionisio Ridruejo es, desde luego, una figura polémica, cuya simple mención todavía excita fobias a izquierdas y a derechas (sobre todo entre quienes no le conocieron). Por eso hay que agradecerle a Manuel Penella Heller la presente biografía, resultado de muchos años de trabajo y de reflexión sobre el personaje y sobre su época.
