¿Qué diabólico ser se esconde tras los negros ropajes que se esfuman después de cada asesinato? Todos los indicios apuntan a una bella dama, envuelta en un halo de misterio, siempre vestida de negro y que va dejando tras de sí un largo rastro de muerte y destrucción. Pero el detective Wanger no puede permitirse el lujo de creer en fantasmas e intentará dar caza a la presunta asesina antes de que otros hombres sucumban a sus encantos y se sumen a su ya extensa lista de víctimas.
