Mentre a la resta del territori s'ha iniciat el procés cap al neolític, la Gent de Pedra segueix vivint dins de la terra, entre les penyes. Tenen la força de la roca. Per a ells la pedra ho és tot: eina, arma, casa i, també, déu.
La vall Tancada és segura perquè els guerrers del Gran Bruixot la vigilen. Fins que un bon dia, pel mateix camí que segueix el sol cada matí, arriba un jove intrèpid que ho capgira tot.
