Catàleg de l'exposició exhibida al MNAC entre abril i juliol de 2010 amb un a selecció de les obres més remarcables de Courbet amb l'objectiu de resseguir-n e l'empremta al nostre país. Obres en la major part dels casos exposades per pri mer cop a Espanya que revelen la influència de Courbet en la pintura catalana de l'època, a partir sobretot de l'obra de Ramon Martí Alsina, artífex de la renov ació pictòrica i introductor del realisme en el panorama artístic espanyol.
