¿Será ése el juez Rementería?, se pregunta un periodista que debe entrevistarlo una hora más tarde, mientras lo ve escapar del lugar donde ha muerto Amalia Griffin. ¿Qué hacer en un caso así? ¿Le preguntará qué hacía en el Club de Golf? Por otro lado Teresa, la amiga de Amalia, ¿aceptará la explicación que se ha dado a pesar de existir un escrito que incrimina al juez? o ¿escarbará hasta saber la verdad? Haber visto a ese hombre escapando y silenciarlo se convierte en la pesadilla de este periodista. Descubrir al asesino se convierte en la única meta de Teresa. Escapar de sí mismo es el último anhelo del juez.
