"Una història de Ràdio Pica" explica com va néixer l'any 1981 aquesta ràdio per cobrir un buit que encara avui no omplen les emissores oficials i comercials: l'experimentació radiofònica a través del mitjà sonor. Hi han passat realitzdors que tenien en les ones de PICA el laboratori més liberal per a les seves creacions, persones que més tard han seguit les seves tasques en diferents terrenys culturals relacionats amb el so, amb l'art o amb la informació. Fèlix Villagrasa (Barcelona, 1964) ha fet una aproximació als esdeveniments claus d'aquesta etapa d'una ràdio que va néixer amb la voluntat de ser legal. Pirata per obligació, i lliure per necessitat, en aquesta emissora col·lectiva no ha minvat en tots aquests anys l'empenta de les persones implicades.
